Clint Allen

Mr. Allen is the Chief Executive Officer of A. C. Allen & Company that owns and manages a consulting firm and a public company director education organization.

He was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Burgess & Leith/Advest, a New York Stock Exchange member firm and served as interim CEO of the Miami Dolphins NFL Football Organization.

In over 30 years he has served on 20 public and numerous private company boards of directors.

Mr Allen serves as a director of Brooks Automation, Inc. (BRKS:NASDAQ). Brooks is a leading provider of life science and semiconductor manufacturing automation solutions worldwide.  Additionally, he serves as the Lead Director of LKQ Corporation (LKQ:NASDAQ), a Fortune 500 company and the largest nationwide provider of recycled OEM automotive parts. Mr. Allen also serves on the board of Psychemedics Corp (PMD:NASDAQ) the world’s largest provider of hair testing for the detection of drugs of abuse.Mr Allen holds an Executive Masters Professional Director Certification, the highest level conferred by the American College of Corporate Directors, a director education and credentialing organization.

Mr. Allen was Vice Chairman and a director of The DeWolfe Companies until it was acquired by Cendant Corporation in September of 2002. Additionally, he was a director and member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Army Brands until it was acquired by Victorinox Corporation in August of 2002. After 12 years of service, Mr Allen retired as Lead Director of Steinway Musical Instrument Company.

He provided the original financing for Blockbuster Entertainment, was their founding director and served on the Board until the company was acquired by Viacom/Paramount in September of 1994.

Mr. Allen is a Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital and the President's Council, a Director of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and a Trustee of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. He served on the Board of Trustees of Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Connecticut and is a member of the Board of Advisors of Vespoli, USA.

Mr. Allen is the Founder and President of the American College of Corporate Directors, a public company director education organization dedicated to educating and informing its members on important and relevant board of director issues.

Mr. Allen is a graduate of Harvard University. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Friends of Harvard Football and is a member of the Harvard University Visiting Committee on University Resources as well as the Harvard Major Gifts Committee.
